Okinawa Ghost Town

A little travel photography from my Navy days.  The story for this image is that some Japanese developers were going to build on an area that was a burial ground.  They were warned by some monks at the Buddhist temple nearby that it would make the spirits angry.  Needless to say they were ignored and they started building anyway.  Sure enough, strange things started happening, tools would move or disapear and the foreman of the project started seeing apparitions and being threatened by the ghosts.  The story goes that the foreman of the project went crazy and still lives in a Japanese asylum till this day. Of course a friend and I had been wondering around in there for half the day before we found this out.  Great views from the top of this thing...

Urban Landscape

I took this a while back exploring the urban landscape down the street.  If the purist landscape is nowhere to be found then this will have to do....

Malibu

Took a trip to Malibu and ended up with some good shots of El Matador State Beach.
